  • Color is a purple hue with a red middle. Aromas of fresh blueberries and red cherries. The touch of French vanilla oak rounds out a very enticing and complex nose. The palate is again fruit driven. Bright and well-structured with red fruit flavors and a supple finish. Blend: 76% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon.
  • The nose is a combo of dark fruits and chocolate with notes of plum and black currants, elegant and full with a fresh balsamic finish given by the Sangiovese. A dense and powerful wine with ripe tannins, juicy and rich with a striking structure. JS 96 pts.
  • The nose exudes big ripe black cherries, earthy vanilla bean and notes of cedar from the Cabernet Franc. This powerful, luscious and mouth-filling wine has dominating flavors of ripe strawberries, white chocolate and cotton candy. The tannins provide structure yet are soft and supple. The finish is surprisingly racy with hints of black licorice and spicy white pepper. This lively wine should be enjoyed with friends and family during any occasion. Blend: 54% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Franc, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot. JS 90 pts.
  • The Ghostrunner red blend includes Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Zinfandel. It shows a dark ruby color with an aroma that's rich in mixed berries and black cherry preserves. Hints of spice including black pepper and bacon carry through on the palate.
  • The 2015 Valadorna (65% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot) is a dark and thickly endowed red wine that boasts a rich and lasting grip on the palate. The bouquet offers depth and complexity with dark fruit, leather, cured tobacco and spice. There are also softer notes of chocolate and ground espresso beans. WA 95 pts
  • The 2017 Arise offers a rich attack with sweet, plush tannins and notes of cherry, plum, and smoked duck in a long finish of coffee, plum, and blueberry. An ideal 2016 harvest season resulted in rich fruit of uncompromised character. The 2016 Arise is Blackbird at its core of supple winemaking.   • Columbia Valley, WA- Generous and round offering delicious, red ripe plum, blueberry and currant aromas and flavors, with a lip-smacking, spicy finish. 9% Merlot; 24% Syrah; 5% Cabernet Franc; 5% Sangiovese; 4%Petit Verdot ; 2% Mourvedre; 1% Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Takes a bright and relatively fresh approach, with raspberry and plum coulis flavors racing through first, backed by a plumper feel on the back end, showing notes of anise, mocha and briar.   • Elegant ruby and garnet color over a very deep cherry red. Aromas of vanilla with intense fruity tones and soft tannins coming from the wood. It has a long, pleasant and very harmonic aftertaste, perfectly structured and fleshy. Blend of 55% Garnacha, 39% Syrah, 6% Mazuela.
  • California has some of the finest land in the world for growing grapes. We’ve sourced from a range of sub-appellations and growing conditions, and from a diversity of sites. Our Z. Alexander Brown Proprietary Red Blend achieves complexity and real dimension. We met at Zac’s home for the final blending session and came away with a lush, mouth filling wine that is smooth and round with a generous finish. This Proprietary Red blends Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Verdot, Malbec, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
  • Opaque purple in color. Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, plum, boysenberry, vanilla, baking spices, smoked chocolate, and anise.
