The Bagueri is composed of 100% Ribolla Gialla (locally known as Rebula in Slovenia) from 4 different vineyard sites with vine ages between 15 and 40 years of age. This grape thrives on the marl and sandstone soils of Brda (on the western side of Slovenia, near Italy). The grapes are all hand harvested and the wine goes through fermentation and aging in large oak casks. The aging rounds the acidity giving the full bodied profile roasted citrus flavors and intense mineral tones. Perfect for all the wonderful creamy truffle dishes served in the region. Decanter 97 pts.
